She completed her undergraduate education at Yeditepe University with a YÖK (Council of Higher Education) scholarship. She spent one semester at Erasmus University of Rotterdam as part of an international exchange program. During her undergraduate psychology education, she participated as an observer in adult studies during her clinical internship at the Department of Psychiatry of Aydın Adnan Menderes University. Following her undergraduate studies, she had the opportunity to work with adults from various socioeconomic backgrounds and with different health issues during her time as a psychologist in a private nursing home.

Subsequently, she completed her doctoral thesis titled "Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis of the Role of Disgust in Traumatic Life Experiences," which examined the disgust experiences of women subjected to domestic violence, in the Middle East Technical University Clinical Psychology integrated doctoral program, earning the title of Doctor of Clinical Psychology. During her doctoral education, she had the opportunity to work with children and adolescents at the Hacettepe University Hospital Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry as part of her hospital internship. Also during her doctoral studies, she conducted psychotherapy sessions under supervision at the METU Ayna Clinical Psychology Support Unit. During this period, as part of her training, she provided supervision to clinical psychology master's students.

While continuing her doctoral education, she conducted nearly a hundred one-on-one face-to-face interviews within the Psychiatry Unit of İzmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital as part of a TÜBİTAK project carried out in collaboration with TED University, working with individuals who had been exposed to various traumatic experiences for 1 year, both with and without a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

After her doctoral graduation, she worked as a faculty member at İzmir University of Economics, Bahçeşehir University, and Yeditepe University. During this time, in addition to teaching in psychology undergraduate and clinical psychology master's programs, she provided supervision for the psychotherapy processes conducted by clinical psychology master's students.

Professionally, she completed the basic level theoretical training and supervisions provided by the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) for schema therapy, which she first encountered during her graduate education.

In line with her academic and field studies, she participated in the International Trauma Studies Certificate Program directed by Ayten Zara, Jack Saul, and Tamer Aker under World Human Relief. She took part in the volunteer network to provide individual psychosocial support to those affected by the February 2023 earthquake.

She completed her supervision process under the supervision of Dr. Byron Norton and Carol Norton by working with children experiencing various difficulties within the scope of Experiential Play Therapy training, which was developed to work on the traumatic processes of children.

She attended the Introduction to Psychoanalysis Seminars provided by Psike Istanbul, which is affiliated with the International Psychoanalytical Association (IPA), and the Meeting with Psychoanalysis seminars at the Istanbul Psychoanalytical Association. She attended the 'Technique and Practice in Dynamic Psychotherapy' seminar given by training psychoanalyst Yavuz Erten.

She has been conducting psychotherapy practice in various institutions since 2014. She adopts a psychodynamic orientation in her practice. She currently continues her work individually with children, adolescents, and adults.
